VISA is one of the “Big Three” Credit Card companies (alongside MasterCard and American Express (AMEX) that is accepted nearly universally at online casinos. VISA also offers an assortment of prepaid card (cards which can have amounts of money loaded on them, usually for a nominal fee, but have no check-writing privileges). These cards are globally available at most major retailers, such as Wal-Mart, Sears and Walgreens.

Though VISA is a globally known credit card payment brand, it has its headquarters in San Francisco, in the United States.
